2017 Event FAQ’s
What is the event?
The 2017 Iconic Beauty: Look Good, Feel Good, Do Good Event is a 2-3 day event where you get to Live Your Dreams.
When is the event?
For VIP members, the event is May 19-21st.
For General Admission members, the event is May20-21st.
What is the Early Bird discount?
The Early Bird Discount is a lowered rate valid through October 28, 2016.
Why the Early Bird Discount?
I am going on maternity leave for a month so while I’m slowly transitioning out of my normal workload and then slowly transitioning back into my normal workload (when the time is right) I’m just lowering the fee to give you the opportunity to enter at a lower rate. I’m used to giving my Beauties 110% of my efforts as the President of Iconic Beauty. But while I’ll be giving 1,000% of my efforts to my son and new little family, I don’t have that extra 110% to give to my Beauties at this particular time. So it’s like a win/win. You get to enter at a lower rate with 5% – 10% of my efforts, in the beginning.. until the discount expires, and then when I’m back to work, you get 110% of my efforts again. Watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yeUh6yDFqQ and fast forward to 3:54.
Is my airfare/hotel included?
Not it is not. Each attendee is responsible for her own transportation and lodging. Watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yeUh6yDFqQ and fast forward to 8:08.
What if I can’t afford it?
Iconic Beauty isn’t just for people with an extra $1,500 or $500 laying around. It’s for people who are ready to hustle their way to the top so that eventually, they no longer have to financially struggle. They’re ready to make sacrifices now and live a life that most people WON’T, so they can eventually live a life that most people CAN’T. There’s no such thing as “I can’t” for an Iconic Beauty, so watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yeUh6yDFqQ
Who is the event for?
Any Beauty, of any age, from anywhere on the globe who wants to experience a true Dream Come True.
Since the event is not a competition anymore, can I still become an Iconic Beauty? If so, how?
Yes! The Original Iconic Beauty Dream Team will help select the new Dream Team from the event. Watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yeUh6yDFqQ and fast froward to 10:20.
Do I have to be a certain age?
No, there is no max age. However, if you are under 18, you will be given an extra assignment to complete prior to the event. Every attendee also needs her own ticket to get into the event, so if mom wants to accompany you, she will need her own ticket. Watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yeUh6yDFqQ and fast forward to 9:34.
What if I want to attend but don’t want to become an Iconic Beauty?
That is totally okay! Being an Iconic Beauty is not for everyone. It’s a lot of work, a lot of commitment and a lot of dedication. If you’re not ready or willing to take on that responsibility at this time, but you still want to Live Your Dreams and experience a true Dream Come True for a few days, you are more than welcome to attend! You never know.. you could fall so in love with your experience at the event, that you go home fired up and ready to become an Iconic Beauty!
And vice versa: What if I want to become an Iconic Beauty but don’t want to or can’t attend the event?
Unfortunately, that is not an option. In order to be considered to represent Iconic Beauty as a brand ambassador in 2017, you must attend the 2017 Iconic Beauty: Look Good, Feel Good, Do Good Event.
I can’t attend this event. When will you host the next one?
The last event was in July 2015, the next one is in May 2017. When the next one will be after that, only time will tell. I would love for Iconic Beauty to be an annual event, but I run this company on my own, so I don’t plan on taking on a bigger load than I know I can handle. Especially when other people’s dreams and passions are on the line.
I’m not a model or a beauty queen, but I love what Iconic Beauty is all about and what it stands for. Is this event still for me?
Of course! Iconic Beauty is no longer looking for models. We’re accepting Iconic Beauties who are truly committed to their dreams – whatever that may be to each individual! Watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4NA0Z0SiCQ and fast forward to 8:18.
How do I know it’s not a scam?
Honestly, I could go on and on but I’m not going to. If this is your mentality, don’t waste your money and don’t waste my time. Watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yeUh6yDFqQ and fast forward to 19:09.
How can I prepare for next year’s event?
Follow Iconic Beauty on social media and all of the Iconic Beauty Dream Team. You can learn a lot from each of us just by staying connected. Also, start setting goals and creating plans to make them come true. Personally develop yourself and recite positive affirmations to yourself throughout the day, every day. Make a vision board. Read the Iconic Beauty Pledge and live by it every day. This is your journey. Start it how you see fit, but start it. Watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yeUh6yDFqQ and fast forward to 22:05.
What are the requirements?
If you want to become an Iconic Beauty, you will be required to stay in touch and well connected with Iconic Beauty while completing monthly homework assignments ON TIME. If you don’t want to become an Iconic Beauty after the event, but still want to attend the event, let us know ahead of time and you don’t have to complete the assignments. Watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4NA0Z0SiCQ and fast forward to 10:05.
What does Bryiana want me to gain out of this event?
I want you to experience a real Dream Come True from the moment you walk through the door. I want you to become so engulfed with the entire experience of having a Dream Come True that you will leave the event feeling so in love with your new outlook on life that you will be inspired to take the necessary steps and actions to Live Your Dreams forever, not just throughout the duration of the event. Watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4NA0Z0SiCQ and fast forward to 20:40.
What does Bryiana want to gain out of the event?
I’m looking forward to earning a new tribe of Iconic Beauties to make up the 2017 Dream Team. I don’t make money off this event because it’s so expensive to produce, I just really excited to watch and help my new tribe make their dreams come true.
How do I know if I got accepted?
Within 3-5 business days of receiving your paperwork and payment, you will get your official Welcome to Iconic Beauty email from Bryiana.
Do I have what it takes to be an Iconic Beauty?/Do you think I will do well in the event?
No one can decide that but you. Watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yeUh6yDFqQ and fast forward to 15:00.
Do I have to live in a certain place in order to be an Iconic Beauty?
No 🙂 We welcome Beauties from anywhere on the globe to join this incredible revolution. Watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yeUh6yDFqQ and fast forward to 25:16.
Will you have a casting call in my area?
No. Iconic Beauty is only accepting Beauties at the Look Good, Feel Good, Do Good Event in Los Angeles. Watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yeUh6yDFqQ and fast forward to 28:50.
Where can I submit photos to be considered for Iconic Beauty?
You can’t. Iconic Beauty does not accept photo submissions or online submissions. The only way to be considered for Iconic Beauty is to attend the Look Good, Feel Good, Do Good Event.
Relay For Life: Don’t Let Cancer Steal 3rd Base
Don’t Let Cancer Steal 3rd Base
As a women’s empowerment brand, #TeamIconicBeauty proudly spread awareness about cervical and ovarian cancer at the Relay for Life in my hometown of Los Banos to benefit the American Cancer Society so more women can live to transform their dreams into reality.
One of my absolute favorite things to do is participate in charity events. However I can help, I always want to. That’s what drew me to beauty pageants in the first place. So when my 5th grade teacher messaged me on Facebook asking if I would be willing to back to my hometown and speak at the closing ceremony to share my story about when I was sick, I didn’t hesitate.
But I wanted to be more involved. Sure, I enjoy speaking, sharing my story and spreading awareness about great causes (even though I’m a mega introvert and still get super nervous every time I have to be on stage) but I also really like being hands on. I like moving people and making a difference. So, in addition to speaking at the closing “Fight Back” ceremony, I invited the entire Iconic Beauty Family (everyone who participated in the 2015 Modeling Competition) to join forces as a TEAM for the whole event!
What is it?
The Relay For Life is a 24 hour camp-out/walking relay to celebrate survivors and honor cancer patients and caregivers while raising money and awareness for cancer research.
Getting to my little hometown of Los Banos was a mission in itself because it’s so far away from anything/everything. So Iconic Beauty brand ambassadors: Layla, Meraiah and Nora drive up two days early for a Black Sand Beach shoot with Iconic Beauty photographer, Charlie Couch. Then I drove up on Friday by myself. Beauty, Vanna, drove up from San Diego on late Friday afternoon. Beauty, Alondra is already from Los Banos so she was there to join on Saturday. Then Beauty, Tahidy drove out from Nevada! And Iconic Beauty brand ambassador, Shania, drove down from the Bay Area on the day of the Relay.
Our team’s topic of cancer was gynecologic (cervical and ovarian) so we chose a baseball theme and the slogan “Don’t Let Cancer Steal 3rd Base!”
Since the month of May was a really busy one for me, I fell behind on pretty much all of my tasks. So if I can be honest with you, I totally wasn’t as prepared for the Relay as I had hoped to be. But we totally made it work! (Because we’re Iconic Beauties and that’s what we do. We roll with the punches.)
Iconic Beauty brand ambassadors: Layla, Meraiah, Nora and myself, started making our props as soon as we checked into our hotel the day before the Relay. And when Beauty, Vanna arrived from San Diego, she jumped in!
And I have to insert this mini brag because it’s important to me-
My ride or die/best friend/maid of honor, Adri, (who is also from my hometown of Los Banos) came over to pretty much hold my life together by organizing our plan and efforts/run the show when she was with us. (Honestly, no one in the world is better at that than she is. Like, what would my life even be if I didn’t have her in it for the last 12 years?! No idea. I don’t even wanna know either.)
On the Morning of the relay
We woke up bright and early. (And I mean bright and early. Before it was even bright outside! We were up before the sun was) To get to the Los Banos Fairgrounds to start setting up our booth. This, of course, took a lot longer than we expected. But it all worked out! And I mean, it really worked out because we won the award for Best Decorated Booth! (Holla) It was completely unexpected, but very much appreciated!
We wore white or denim jeans, white shoes and Iconic Beauty brand ambassador, Shania, had white shirts made with our slogan on the front in teal. (Cervical/Ovarian cancer colors) Side Note: This was also the first time I let my bump come out to play. Up to this point in my pregnancy, I wore loose shirts so sometimes, you couldn’t even tell that I was pregnant. (And for no real reason. Pretty much everything I already owned was pretty loose-fitting anyway.)
We threw some last minute raffle fundraisers together. Like the 50/50 raffle and a live taping to MTV’s Ridiculousness. Played Cards Against Humanity to pass the time when we were waiting for our turn to walk. Ate a LOT of Me n Ed’s pizza. And we took lots of photos.
I loved doing the Relay For Life in high school, but I was always part of an already-established team. It wasn’t until this year that I was actually responsible for putting the team together and running it. But I learned a lot, we all did.We did a lot during our 24+ hours at the Relay. But what we didn’t do was get as many Spirit Points as we should have. Because, again, we weren’t prepared. And since most of us live 4-6 hours away from Los Banos, we weren’t able to make it to any of the monthly meetings. So we missed out on some points there. Also missed the memo about the themed laps. And even though we did know about the Car Race and decorating contest, we just weren’t able to pull that together in time. But next time, we will be ready. And next time #TeamIconicBeauty will dominate!
“Life is not a matter of holding good cards, but of playing a poor hand well.”
Let’s be real, here. It’s very rare that anyone is ever given a good hand, let alone a fantastic one. Most people are dealt an awful hand. Even I got dealt a rough hand and had to figure out how to play them right, back in the day.
But I did it. I figured it out. And I am very blessed. That is something I will forever be grateful for and never take for granted.
All Iconic Beauties are blessed beyond belief in many ways, for many reasons. Not only do I like to reward my Beauties for their efforts, but I like to remind them how blessed they are and how important it is to give back. Although, being the Iconic Beauties that they are, they don’t really need to be reminded. They already know. And for that reason, they’re always willing, able and excited to give back however they can.
ALWAYS STRIVE TO BE SOMEONE ELSE’S LIGHT!
Last holiday season, Iconic Beauty started our own take on Random Acts of Kindness and called it #IconicKindnesses because we are ICONIC BEAUTY! And that’s not just a physical attractiveness. We are here to change the way people think of the words “Iconic” and “Beauty”.
“A random act of kindness is a selfless act performed by a person or people wishing either to assist or to cheer up an individual person or people.”
The phrase may have been coined by Anne Herbert, who says that she wrote “Practice random kindness and senseless acts of beauty” on a place mat at a Sausalito restaurant in 1982 or 1983.
SO WHAT EXACTLY DID WE DO?
Iconic Beauties Bryiana, Meraiah and Damaris along with Beauties Selena and Gabby, came over for pizza and to make Blessing Bag-inspired stockings for the homeless with handwritten notes to remind them of their worth and how special they truly are.
Then we went around Los Angeles handing them out to those in need.
We also made cookies, wrote positive quotes on candy canes, over-tipped our servers when dining out, and lots of little things that turned into a season of lots of giving.
Some out of state Iconic Beauties and Beauties participated in their own #IconicKindnesses too!
That’s really what it’s about..
We didn’t do this and post about it for credit. There’s so much we do to give back behind the scenes. We just wanted to share this particular project, in hopes of inspiring others to do the same. And it worked!
If you’ve done anything similar, we’d love to hear what worked for you! We’re always open to hearing about new ideas to giving back. Please tag @iamiconicbeauty #iAmIconic so we can see your photos and be inspired by you too!!

I am the only one who can create my dream life.
I don’t want an average life.
If it’s meant to be, it’s up to me!

I choose freedom.
I am my own best investment.
Winners never quit and quitters never win.
I will win. I have to win.
Introducing the NEW Iconic Beauty
The idea of Iconic Beauty came from my drive to break the mold and it has taken a lot to get Iconic Beauty where it is today.
On my end, it has been an endless cycle of creating and recreating my business plan (multiple times) because what I originally thought Iconic Beauty was, isn’t what it really is, or what it should be. Iconic Beauty is not a beauty pageant. It’s not a modeling agency. It’s not a clothing line. It’s not a competition. None of those things are good enough to be what Iconic Beauty is. So I changed plans a LOT since the original 2015 Competition. And after I had a more clear vision on what I was going after, I hired some really incredible people to help me bring my idea to life.
Like Iconic Beauty photographer, Charlie Couch. He’s done a lot of shoots with us, including the Hawaii shoot. I love working with him because not only is he extremely talented as a photographer, but he’s just an all-around wonderful person. I first shot with him when I was 15 years old and over the last (OMG) 10 YEARS, he’s become a great friend of mine. He was the first photographer to really believe in me and I will forever be grateful for his friendship, his belief in me, his belief in Iconic Beauty, and his belief in my girls.
Life Hack: Good people are hard to come by these days. When you find them, keep them. Charlie is a keeper.
Graphic Designer & Developer
And Iconic Beauty’s web and graphic designer, Ashley Cameron. One of my biggest struggles in 2015 was finding a graphic designer who could bring my vision to life. So when I came across Ashley (through some good ol’ endless Pinterest and behance searching) it was almost a love at first sight kind of thing. I loved her work and prayed that she was the one. Only through working with her, did I realize that finding her was more than a dream come true! Through 5 rounds of logos, 2 rounds of email signatures, 1 round of website design and 1 round of email templates (because she killed it on the first shot!) and countless emails, I have found her to be very attentive, professional, kind and creative.
Added Bonus: She loves Iconic Beauty! It’s been an honor working with her, and I’m excited to see what our collaborative future has in store!
And finally, Iconic Beauty videographer, Brian Christ of Brian Christ Films. He has worked on quite a few projects with Iconic Beauty this year, including our trip to Hawaii. He’s great at what he does and, he too, is a great person! He even spent his BIRTHDAY working with us in Hawaii! My Beauties and I love working with him and feel comfortable in front of his camera- which, especially for beginning models, is a HUGE deal! I can’t thank Brian enough for his professionalism, creativity and passion for his work. Because of that combination, we have great videos to share our Iconic Beauty experience with you!
That’s just an itsy bitsy glimpse at what has gone on behind-the-scenes to creating the NEW Iconic Beauty. And even though it was really frustrating to feel like there wasn’t any “real progress” for such a long time, all of the changes that were made have been absolutely needed and I’m glad that I put so much time and effort into each detail because it’s all paying off! Through many, many trials and tribulations, I finally have Iconic Beauty exactly where it needs to be and I have never been more clear on my vision with Iconic Beauty. Now I am confident in what Iconic Beauty truly is and where it’s going.
What about the Beauties, you ask?
Well, since I signed my Beauties in 2015, there have been a lot of homework assignments. A lot of LEARNING (because prior to the 2015 Modeling Competition, almost none of them had any experience. So during their reign with Iconic Beauty, they’ve learned a lot about modeling and how to break into the industry.) A lot of practicing. A lot of planning. A lot of growing. And a lot of TRUST. A lot of trusting in a stranger’s dream that they couldn’t even really see because I didn’t have a clear enough vision of it myself. I had a general idea, a GOOD idea, but not a clear one, until I got to know each of them.
So, as Iconic Beauty brand ambassadors, my Beauties and I have gone through a lot together and it’s been a truly remarkable journey. Each of them holds a very dear place in my heart and it’s for that exact reason that I continue doing what I do. There have been so many times where I’ve thought about throwing in the towel when it got too hard, or when I felt like I wasn’t getting where I wanted to be. But at the end of the day, when I remind myself that I’m not just doing this for me and that I’m doing it for other people like me, I find the strength to continue on. And it’s been worth it every step of the way.
You see… My life is a dream come true. And I want this for everyone who truly deserves it. But getting to this point in my life hasn’t been an easy journey. I have been told my whole life that I wasn’t good enough, or tall enough, or pretty enough to live the dream I envisioned for myself, by people who didn’t even care to take the time to get to know me. They just wanted to put me down because it was fun to see me hurt. Or they didn’t want to see me live out my dreams because they didn’t have it in them to live out their own.
Even worse than that, after I became a Playmate, I was shunned and immediately unfit for the only industry that made me feel like I finally fit in somewhere- which was pageants. And it didn’t matter how good of a person I am, or how active I was in my community, or how much I loved what I was doing, or how much time and effort I put into giving back- I couldn’t be a beauty queen anymore because you can’t be naked and still be a role model.
It’s unfortunate that the world still looks at things for what they used to be, not what they should be or for what they actually are. But change is good. Adapting is necessary. Evolving is important. That’s what Iconic Beauty is. Iconic Beauty is challenging the status quo and breaking the mold because there’s so much Beauty in writing your OWN story.
Iconic Beauty is not just telling people that it’s okay to have a past as long as you don’t stay there; as long as you’re willing to create a new future for yourself. It’s not just telling people that it’s okay to have tattoos and piercings or be any body size or ethnicity. It’s not just telling people that you don’t have to have a high GPA or degree in order to be successful. It’s not just telling people that you can transform your dream into your reality. We are PROVING it. We are raising the bar, changing lives, breaking the mold and getting ready to live our dreams! And we are doing it in an environment where it’s safe to do so. It’s safe to share our dreams with each other without feeling silly or judged. It’s safe to be ourselves because we care so much about each other that we like each other’s quirks and what other people would look at as “flaws”. We are safe with each other because there’s no such thing as “impossible”.
So, it is my pleasure and such an honor to introduce to you the NEW Iconic Beauty. Where dreams come true, friendships are made, success is ignited and anything is possible. Welcome to Iconic Beauty.
2015 Iconic Beauty Modeling Competition
2015 ICONIC BEAUTY MODELING COMPETITION
In July of 2015, I was on a mission to find the Face of Iconic Beauty, along with a handful of other models to represent my new brand. This was such a life-changing experience for so many women. Not just those who ended up signing with Iconic Beauty after the Competition, but for most of the women who just got to participate. Honestly, it completely changed my life too. It changed the way I look at the world, the way I look at others, treat myself and fight for what I believe in. It’s made me wiser, a harder worker, a bigger dreamer and an overall better person. Part of me wishes that everyone could experience the 2015 Competition at some point in their life, and another part of me is so glad that no one ever have to again (lol) because the Future of Iconic Beauty is so much brighter than anything that 2015 had to offer. Nevertheless, it was an experience and I’m happy to share the memories with you…
Prior to the 2015 Iconic Beauty Model Competition, I created Iconic Beauty social media handles (@iamiconicbeauty), launched the new website and started accepting applications to find the new models and Face of Iconic Beauty to represent my brand. I, personally, reached out to a handful of women who I believed would do well- some decided to enter, others never got back to me, and most were skeptical so they declined.
For those who did enter, however, I sent out TONS of emails to keep them updated on the status of the event, answer any questions and ease their minds about what to expect since most of them didn’t have any modeling experience at all. I followed the aspiring Iconic Beauty models on Instagram and Twitter and the aspiring models followed each other which lead to a lot of new friendships prior to even meeting in person. (Which I LOVE!)
The 2015 Competition had VIP members and General Admission members. I individually Skyped or FaceTime’d the VIP members to get to know them, answer their questions and in a separate call, we practice the interview portion of the competition. VIP members also had access to the bi-monthly training webinars that I hosted, which helped them further prepare for the Competition.
Honestly, it warms my heart that so many of my Beauties befriended each other prior to the Competition. Many of the models traveled from out-of-state to compete for their chance to become the Face of Iconic Beauty so while I was running around like a chicken with its head cut off, trying to prepare for the long weekend ahead, my Beauties were getting settled into their hotel rooms and meeting up with their new friends.
Day 1: Registration
At the registration, I checked in all the girls personally and already knew each of them by name because I had spent so much time emailing, FaceTiming and following them on social media prior to actually meeting them in person.
Everyone got to choose an Iconic Beauty shirt (which they were asked to style however they wanted- to show off their own personal style- for the Iconic Beauty Fashion Show) And can we talk about how AMAZING they looked in their shirts?!
Okay, thanks. Because they’re perfect.
After they checked in and chose their shirts, everyone found their seats in the orientation room where a pink notebook and a black pen were waiting for them to take notes. And I just have to tell you: it makes me SO happy to know that so many of them still have their pink notebooks and review the notes they took on a regular basis!!!
Day 1: Orientation
I shared my story with everyone: who I am, where I came from, what I’ve overcome, how I got to where I am today, and what even makes me qualified to be the President of Iconic Beauty. I’m not gonna lie, it was a little intimating opening up and being so candid and raw with a room full of strangers. But it was during that time, when I went from being a celebrity’s fiancé or “InstaModel” in their eyes, to someone just like them. Someone who is absolutely ordinary with extraordinary dreams. I believe it was in that orientation that 53 women looked at me and thought “if Bryiana can go through everything she’s been through and still come out on top, then so can I.” Maybe someday I’ll get raw with you through blogging, and maybe you’ll just have to come to an event and get to know me. Only time will tell.
After opening up to everyone about myself, I gave a presentation on goal setting and achieving.
I also had a guest speaker, Katie, who gave a phenomenal presentation about her company: WANT. Women Against Negative Talk. (And everyone LOVED her! Check her out at @WomenAgainstNegativeTalk @KatieHorwitch)
During the break, Beauties snacked on cheese and crackers, coffee and whatever else was there? or ran off to the restrooms and took pictures with me and my then-fiancé (now husband 😍 and FOREVER love of my life)
When we got back from the break, I did an impromptu photoshoot with Iconic Beauty photographer (and my dear friend) Charlie Couch! To give the models a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like being on the set of a shoot AND to give them some pointers on what to do for their own photoshoots the next day. (Since, again, this was a first time thing for most of them!)
To finish out the orientation, I walked the Beauties through the itinerary for the weekend, gave them the low down on what to expect and then we practiced the runway portion of the competition.
Day 2: Early Morning Call Time
All aspiring models had fresh faces and clean hair for their digitals to be taken with Iconic Beauty photographer, Charlie Couch then everyone had their hair and make up professionally styled before shooting with 4 of my favorite photographers: Charlie Couch, Ryan Astamendi, Ramon Bryce and Christos Sewell. My favorite part of the shoots was getting to be on the set to help out with BTS (behind the scenes) stuff. So I was able to see these Beauties’ dreams come to life!
Day 2: Iconic Beauty Fashion Show/Runway Competition
Each aspiring model rocked the runway in two outfits: (1) Outfit of choice (evening gown, swimsuit or cocktail attire) and (2) Iconic Beauty outfit of choice (styled Iconic Beauty shirt to showcase personal style on runway)
This portion of the competition was judged by 4 judges: Our keynote speaker- Katie from WANT, fitness model and YouTuber Paige Hathaway, Stephanie DeSouza and Durrani Popal from E!’s DASH dolls, and make up artist/Bellami hair spokesmodel Marjan.
After the models hit the runway, Paige, Rob and I went backstage and interrupted an epic group photo to congratulate the models for a job VERY well done and it was so amazing to back and live in the energy and excitement of it all with them.
After the fashion show and group photos, all models were released to get ready for the after party while I went up to the penthouse with Katie, Paige, Stephanie, Durrani and Marjan to discuss their favorite aspects of the fashion show and who stood out/why.
(Left to Right: Marjan, Steph, Bryiana, Durrani, Katie, Paige)
Iconic Beauty After Party
Desserts and drinks of all sorts were served to celebrate my Beauties after an already dream-come-true day.
Paige, Steph, and the photographers joined. While my dad and Rob took over the dance floor.
Day 3: Interviews
I had the honor and privilege of spending more one-on-one time interviewing each model individually to get to know them a little better on a personal level and to get their thoughts on their experience with Iconic Beauty.
Halfway through the interviews, we took a break for the VIP Brunch hosted by Rob for the VIP members. He talked about goals, did a Q&A and talked a little bit about our personal/real life while the VIP members enjoyed coffee, juice, assorted pastries and fresh fruit.
After the VIP Brunch, we finished the Iconic Beauty interviews with all remaining models and the rest of the day was a FREE DAY! for the models to go exploring Los Angeles together or on their own.
During the models’ free day, the scores were tabulated and kept a secret from me, which is exactly what I wanted because I wanted to keep the Competition “fair”.
Day 4 (The Final Day): Awards Brunch
All Beauties walked in and saw their photoshoot pictures from Friday on two big screens as they took their seats. It was a pretty magical morning. Although the weekend was officially coming to an end, we all had made new friends. We suddenly saw ourselves in a new, brighter light. The models had beautiful, new professional photos to start their modeling portfolios. And everyone gained an experience of a lifetime that would not have been possible, had it not been for their participation in this inaugural event.
On the final morning, however, it was really hard for me. It hadn’t hit me until that morning that I was going to have 20 absolutely thrilled new models and over 30 absolutely devastated ones right in front of me. I wasn’t prepared to take on that kind of heartbreak. And it was in that exact moment, that I realized “this isn’t Iconic Beauty.” I had the best of intentions in creating Iconic Beauty. I wanted to create an opportunity where it didn’t matter what you looked like, where you came from, what battles you’ve fought in the past, or anything that SOCIETY likes to define you by. I wanted a system where YOU define what perfect is.
I didn’t have anything to do with who was awarded modeling contracts. (Except for Iconic Beauty, Meraiah. I chose her as the winner of the Director’s Choice award.) Moving forward, that is changing. A LOT is changing and I’m excited to share it all with you by introducing the NEW Iconic Beauty. It’s basically what dreams are made of 😉 And you’re going to love them! So stay tuned. Big things are on the way 😘

What ARE The Requirements?
There are no height, weight, or outer appearance requirements. Tattoos, piercings, etc. are all okay. We are not looking for Hollywood’s idea of “perfection”. All brand ambassadors must be 14 years old or older. You may be married, single or divorced. You may or may not have children. All brand ambassadors must complete required assignments on time and live harmoniously with Iconic Beauty’s mission and values.
Why do all the current models look the same?
They don’t. Not only do all of our models have their own individual looks, but they are all their own individual people with their own dreams, goals, plans and ambitions. There was a wider variety of outer appearances when Iconic Beauty signed its original 20 models back in 2015; however, only 10 of those models decided to continue on the Iconic Beauty path- and that was a personal decision that each of them made.
Why aren’t there any blondes or plus-sized models?
I had blondes and a wider variety of body shapes in the original 20 models that I signed back in 2015. However, they chose not to follow the rules of being an Iconic Beauty, so they were let go. Being an Iconic Beauty isn’t focused on an outward appearance. It’s either something you want and will strive to work towards every day, or you will let the opportunity pass you by (and onto someone else). That comes from within and nothing to do with one’s outward appearance. I will say this though: I would LOVE to expand the variety of models that I have. I’m just waiting on those special people to present themselves.
Why didn’t the other models decide to stay with Iconic Beauty?
Iconic Beauty is not an opportunity of handouts. Although it is our dream for everyone to succeed, not everyone has the same drive and ambition as those who are willing to dedicate all of their free time to making their dreams come true. Part of being an Iconic Beauty brand ambassador is completing assignments provided by Bryiana, FaceTiming monthly and living harmoniously with the company’s values; those not wishing to be punctual and reliable are not authorized to remain with the company.
How can I prepare for next year’s event?
Set goals. Create a plan of action around those goals. Live your life harmoniously with Iconic Beauty values. Practice modeling facial expressions and poses every day. Practice your runway walk every day. Live your life as if you are already an Iconic Beauty. If you are a Look Good, Feel Good, Do Good VIP pass holder you will be offered other tools and resources to help you further prepare for next year’s event.
Is it a modeling agency?
Iconic Beauty is not a modeling agency. Although potential clients may book Iconic Beauty models by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, Bryiana does not take out a percentage fee from any models or clients. We are simply here to teach and help each individual model grow and reach her own full potential.
Does Iconic Beauty book you jobs?
Iconic Beauty helps to provide its brand ambassadors with the tools and resources to transform dreams into reality. Although Bryiana has offered outside jobs to Iconic Beauties and potential clients are able to book our models by emailing email@example.com, it is typically up to each model to take what they have learned and gained throughout their process with Iconic Beauty to book their own gigs.
What have the Iconic Beauty brand ambassadors done since they were signed?
Immediately following the 2015 Iconic Beauty Modeling Competition, everyone traveled back to their home states. A few days later, their modeling pictures that were taken by Charlie Couch, Ramon Bryce, Ryan Astamendi and Christos Sewell at the competition were sent out to them for their keepsake. Then Bryiana FaceTime’d them individually to learn more about them, their goals, dreams, plans, likes, dislikes, hobbies, etc. and assigned “homework” for them to complete every month to bring them closer to transforming these dreams into their reality.
All brand ambassadors have progressed immensely both as models and Iconic Beauties since signing with Iconic Beauty and completing the assignments. So Bryiana rewarded them with a getaway trip to Maui! Our brand ambassadors spent 4 days in Hawaii building bonds and lasting friendships with each other and building their modeling portfolios with Iconic Beauty photographer, Charlie Couch.
Some models have also signed with modeling agencies throughout the country, while others are continuously booking their own gigs as freelance models. The list of things that our brand ambassadors have done and accomplished during their reign as Iconic Beauty brand ambassadors goes on and on. Learn more about them in the “Meet the Dream Team” tab and follow their journeys!
Why isn’t there a competition in 2016?
Iconic Beauty has undergone some MAJOR changes since the original 2015 Modeling Competition. There will not be a competition in 2016 or any other year for that matter. I learned a lot in my first year with Iconic Beauty and I realized that the best way to improve Iconic Beauty is to completely take the competition out of it. Iconic Beauty is not a competition. As women, we are not in competition with each other and we shouldn’t be. We all have something completely different to bring to the table and that’s special! Our daily missions are just to be better than we were the day before, so Iconic Beauty is there to help.
Okay, so there’s no competition in 2016. Will there be any type of event?
I have dedicated this year to making 2016 the best year it can possibly be for my brand ambassadors. From helping them set their own personal and career goals, to achieving them, offering endless networking and modeling opportunities, traveling, giving back to our communities and inspiring other women to live out their dreams, we’ve been doing a lot this year. With that being said, I would like to continue dedicating this year to them while I prepare to take on a new wave of Iconic Beauties in 2017.
Where are the headquarters?
Iconic Beauty is based in Beverly Hills, California but our brand ambassadors are located all throughout the United States.
Do I have to live in a certain place in order to be an Iconic Beauty?
Nope! We have brand ambassadors living all across the United States. You just have to be dedicated and committed where ever you live.
Will you have a casting call in my area?
No. We do not have casting calls anywhere. We only scout new brand ambassadors at our live events after we get to know who you are, what you’re about and if you are truly living harmoniously with Iconic Beauty’s values.
Where can I submit my photos to be considered for Iconic Beauty?
We do not accept photo submissions for future Iconic Beauties. All Iconic Beauty hopefuls must attend an official Iconic Beauty event in order to be considered for the position as an Iconic Beauty brand ambassador.
When and where is the next event?
Iconic Beauty’s Look Good, Feel Good, Do Good Event will be held in Los Angeles in 2017. More details on this life-changing event will be released to our subscribers in the summer of 2016.
Do I have what it takes to be an Iconic Beauty?
That’s up to you to decide. Iconic Beauty is not for everyone. It’s not for the girl who sits around waiting for things to happen or for opportunities to present themselves. It’s not for the girl who likes to complain or talk about other people. It’s not for the girl who looks at the world around her and thinks “I can’t do that because I don’t look like that, or act like that, or talk like that” (or any other lame excuse you try to lie to yourself about). It’s for the Ultimate Dreamer the go-getter who will stop at nothing until all of her dreams come true.
What makes Iconic Beauty different from the other brands like them?
There is no other brand like Iconic Beauty and that is exactly what makes it different from anything else in the world.
Why / How was this brand created?
The idea of Iconic Beauty originated from Bryiana’s drive to break the mold. Most of her life, she’s been told that she can’t do something because of the limitations that other people had put on her. After breaking through barrier after barrier, she realized there’s no such thing as “impossible” no matter what anyone else says, so she created Iconic Beauty to spread that message and help others live out their dreams.
Where does all the inspiration and motivation come from to fuel the dreams of the Beauties?!
We all driven by our own passions and purpose. Some brand ambassadors are fueled by their struggles of the past while others are fueled by the endless possibilities of the future. At the end of the day, we have all gotten very close with each other so now we aren’t just fueled by our own desires, we are compelled to push each other to greatness as well because there is enough success in the world go around for all of us. We understand that we are not in competition with each other. When one succeeds, it ignites a greater fire within each of us to transform our own dreams into our reality.
What do the brand ambassadors gain from this opportunity?
As each brand ambassador is on her own journey, all chasing after different dreams and successes, what she gains is different from what an other may gain. The only brand ambassador who gets paid directly from Iconic Beauty is the Face of Iconic Beauty, Layla, as she was awarded a cash prize and $10,000 modeling contract with us at the 2015 competition. (click here to learn more about Layla)
However, ALL of our brand ambassadors have gained infinite prosperities, as not all forms of payment are monetary. Iconic Beauty brand ambassadors have earned the tools and resources to transform their dreams into their reality- like goal setting and achieving, life skills, lessons, assistance in developing and perfecting her craft, photoshoots, friendships, memories with fellow Beauties, traveling opportunities, and so, so much more!
